after seeing that the PS9 can get 6 dice at range 1 I think i'll call the ship, "can you not, please"
Unless you're using additional upgrades, it's 5.
Expose
...is an upgrade. A rather poor upgrade that makes Cobra, well... exposed.
Rebels have been able to pull that one for ages, and at much longer range.

I agree that the ship is good with little or no upgrades (just an EPT or illicit), but I still think Expose could be used effectively on Cobra. At R3, he gets 3 evade dice anyway... but yeah, you'd want a Bodyguard or Draw Their Fire ship closeby if using it at closer range. But let's keep the theorycrafting to the other big thread. This one is about how to pronounce Kirweohfikwsapqw.

Kick-axe
Mom's spaghetti.
Kee-racks.
Although, I think it might possibly be the most stupidly named ship in the game. With the possible exception of the Scyk.
Actually, Scyk is much better. But there are at least three ways I can think of to pronounce it (shik, skik, sik), so it's a stupid spelling.
Kihraxz, though? That's just stupid. The h and the z are completely superfluous. Kirax or Ki'Rax or Keerax would be better.
Assuming I'm pronouncing it correctly. The only alternate pronunciation I can think of would be kai-racks or kye-racks. In which case Khyrax or Kairax would be better.
I just call it The Cthulu.
Kur-axe-iz
Try doing it with all of the consonants, and no vowels whatsoever.
How would you pronounce "Khrxz?"

You're suggesting it's Welsh?
Beer Axe works for me.

Is there a vaster difference between languages in conjoined territories than between the English and the Welsh?

I gather it's not occurred to you that the name is not from an English-speaking world, perhaps not even Latin-alphabet based? (Granted, someone's going to bring up Basic here or pull out the Aurubesh chart, but you get my point.)
For example, consider the pronunciation of Xizor, and I imagine you could come up with more creative pronunciations for this ship than the (loose) restrictions of English allow.
Well you know what happens when you assume...

Regardless of the word's language of origin, whoever devised that transliteration should probably go down in history with whoever decided that "北京市" should be transliterated as "Peking".
I guess we could give the 'h' a load of phlegm and pronounce the 'z' (keech-racks-z). But thats different than the pronunciation that is on Wookieepedia. And I'd want the transliteration to look more like Klingon: KigH'rax'Z, perhaps.
Edited by VigilYeah, transliterated words that aren't spelled how they sound are even worse than the ones that got there the long slow way. Also: "key racks".
Germans spell it kee-racks.
Did nobody ever say the name out loud in SW: Galaxies? That would tell us the answer, but I never played it.
I think it is Khir-Rack-Sis.
