Just got into the game and I'm wondering how viable a named character list... So far all the tournament rebel lists run chewy or Han and a bunch of 12 point headhunter a... How boring. I want a list that I can out play my opponent with 3-4 beefed up characters.

Super tycho looks really fun too but I'm not sure that many points into 2 damage dice is worth it...

Any other ideas?

I've done well with 3 named X wings, made the cut in our store championship and I've won a few league nights with it.

Wedge-R2, Opportunist

Luke-R2D2, Draw their fire

Very thematic and can whomp a ton of damage onto one target.
