Hope all you dads have an excellent day and all you kids do something nice for the pops.
Happy Fathers day
And to you too.
Kids told me to go to my FLGS to buy what I wanted.
One wanted to get me xwing and the other armada.
I asked to save it for wave 2 of armada. They agreed. As my wife said, good thing since it is our money anyway.
So,
ISD x2
Raider x3
Home one x 1
MC-30 x 3
Small ship thingy x2, for the hell of it and I can.
Was up at 6am when my 2 year old woke up suddenly.
Made him some breakfast.
Kept him quiet until the wife Got out of bed at 9:30.
Told the wife to sit on the couch and relax while I went to get food.
Walked 4 blocks both way in the pouring rain to get Tim Hortons food and Coffee.
Took over the babysitting duty when I got home again, to let the Wife concentrate on playing her online survival game.
...
Not a very conventional father's day image, I'm very aware... But I'm 33, and a Retired Stay-at-Home Dad of One always exceptionally troublesome 2 Year Old. My wife works a Job and a Half, and is out 6 days a week to keep our heads above water financially.
That, and honestly - I'm an Australian living in Canada. This whole, "One month after Mother's Day" thing trips me out. Far as I'm concerned, Father's day is in September where it belongs.

Kids and a loving wife the good life.

My dad passed away several years ago unfortunately ![]()
He would have loved Armada though we usually would have been flipping coins over who got to play as the Rebels and who got stuck playing as the Empire probably. I would have let him play as the Rebels for Father's Day though.
