Rebel Shuttle

Here I'd think doing a cross-faction ship is even easier than before Scum showed up. We know have the mechanics that it would take to do it and at the cost of a base tile and two pilot cards, to utilize both sides of that tile, you can now have a ship flying in any faction you want. Now if the thinking is that you MUST have a dial for a ship that matches the faction it is flying with that dramatically increases the cost of cross-faction ships as you'd then need to include the two big discs that go into making a dial; without that things are easy.

FFG has FAQ'd that you only need the dial for the ship, it doesn't matter what faction. For now.

As pointed out, it's easy to make cross faction ships. But printing cardboard can't be sold for as much without a little painted piece of plastic. I would love to see a rebel shuttle, and certain pilots in different ships, even across factions (x-wing soonir), but I don't think it's in FFG's plans anytime soon.

If they did do other cross-faction ships it would almost certainly be part of a larger expansion and likely tie into some scenario within that bigger box. Various objective tokens get printed but have no official game use although you could say they go on under utilized cardboard space where the big, square bases are highly efficient.

Tell you what if we get a super star destroyer you can get a shuttle, I think that's fair.

And they're gonna ship it in what? Even if they use the "feels right" scale, instead of 1/270, it needs to be over ten feet long (at 1/270 it would be 19 feet by 12 feet)!

Ain't nobody got a box for that! Well, they do, but then you have to assemble it on your end... never gonna happen...
