Raider after wave 7, doesn't even show up in upcoming months.

I hope this is wrong. I really want the stuff in the raider (for standard play) as well as the raider itself so I can revisit epic play again.

If we get Vader after Nationals it's going to be an interesting meta going into World's. Vader IS a powerhouse, but he'll be untested.

I did what I could to inflate the rumor the Raider was on the way to stores.

What it actually was on the way to, by any mathematical standards known to man, was oblivion, by way of obscurity.

This appears consistent with the "official" rumour that was let loose on this forum a month ago or so. Something has surely gone awry with the production of the raider which is a shame. That said getting wave 7 4 months after it was announced would more than compensate.

Sounds like a real muck up happened on the assembly line,must have to do with this "trade" deal we are supposed to get..

I wouldn't say untested. People have been proxying the Advanced fix both at their local game store as well as via Vassal since it was first announced.

On the other hand how many upcoming months are we talking about? The side event at Worlds clearly indicates it will be here by then. I would assume we would have to have it by October in that case. Did the distributor's letter go out that far?

I suspect that the first batch (the on the boat of the boat fiasco) was a quality issue. FFG likely got the initial shipment and it wasn't up to standard and they sent it back and had to redo it. Of course that's just a guess.

Chances are they already have both in stock ready for Gencon. They'll be released after Aug 4th. FFG wouldn't pass up the opportunity to sell a bunch to the con crowd. Great free publicity when they get back to the flgs and everyone sees their haul. More orders, etc..

Don't see why they would hold off on releasing if it was already ready to go, the longer they hold off on releasing a finished product the more money they are losing ya know

If you got to FFG game center and are in the parking lot after dark and if they have the lights in the warehouse still on you can look in and see pallets and pallets shrinkwrapped and 8x11 pieces of paper with the following printed on them and stuck all over the pallets

(I am assuming jan 16 means January 1st 2016, as opposed to January 16th unknown date. I am assuming "no ship" means 'don't send these pallets out' rather than 'hey we forgot to put a ship in these boxes')

That would mean they probably arrived with the bombers that are still on the boat yet restocked everywhere?

I read a post from someone stating FFG doesn't delay shipments because they would lose money. The post made plenty of sense. No marketing gimmicks here. Sadly I have no link.
