On a serious note, these would be good to use as a cover for a 4'x6'x0.5" sheet of wood. Stretch tight over 1 side and use a staple gun to securely attach it say 1 to 2 inches on what will become the underside then use a craft knife to trim off the excess. The texture of the fabric should help prevent ship slippage.

I use my bed too. Put a board on it - sadly it's slightly too small (about 2 foot 10, by about 4 feet) ,and then a blue blanket.

There are many webstores selling these and all have the same images...Be wary huge shipping costs are added...They appear to be Hubble images on satin sheets too...
