Rebs squeaked that one. I had a lot of trouble getting a dual Assault Frigate list to work. Glad to see it has some potential.

I wonder if the Imperials would not have been better off just going for a straight shootout.

Good game though. Reminds me of age of sail ships exchanging broadsides.

I think a double whale list would be pretty strong

imo, the fatties' weakness is that its damage potential is kind of low (illustrated in the report). They're not cost effective like cR-90s and the neb's front arc is just as strong as a fattie's side at long range.

their strengths are side-arcs and decent speed mean you can trololo the enemy by never really having to engage (also illustrated beautifully in the report), they're decently chuncky bastards, and they have the best squadron support possible in rebels (can take controllers and hangars) short of Yavaris

to field 2 fatties, you need to overcome their core weakness. Here's how:

1.) Paragon

2.) Squadrons

I don't agree with gunnery team at all (until aKbar comes out, then things change) but Intel Off is an absolute nightmare for opponents to face especially with x-17s

I agree. the problem I have is that I have to buy another Frigate to get the cards. No one is selling just the cards or trading them, sadly. I had kitted out the Space Dolphins to deal huge broadsides. It doesn't help that when you roll 7 dice, you get 2 total hits....for three weeks of gaming in a row.
