Old Republic era ships in Armada

By Klerych, in Star Wars: Armada

Don't worry, it's not another thread like "DO U THINK THEY WILL DO CLUN WORZ IN RMDA?" or "ADD OLD SHIPS BCUZ I WUN DEM" - I don't even expect FFG to ever go for prequel stuff, let alone now non-canon Old Republic period.

My question is... has anyone considered/seen someone talk about making ship replacements from that era for existing Armada ships? I would greatly enjoy having a Harrower-class Dreadnought as a replacement for Victory should I get tired of Civil War era ships, especially that they're respectively 800 and 900m long, which with the relative scale of Armada makes a perfect match. Of course the stats would be a little different if we wanted to make a proper Harrower, but Victory's playstyle should reflect the dreadnought well enough, with the heavy front fire, nice side arcs and low maneuverability while a Valor-class Cruiser could be a nice replacement for Assfrigate Mk2 (there's a bigger size difference, but it still could work).

What do you guys think? I'm sure someone will pop up with a comment like "nah, I like Galactic Civil War better, not interested!", but that's not really what I am asking for and about, as those comments don't bring anything to the conversation, so feel free to refrain from posting them. I'm more interested in people's take on the ships and/or any knowledge about anyone already working on it/thinking about it.

You could browse the suppliers of 3D-printed models, a few have shown up in the forum and provide quite a nice variety of ships and squadrons. If they dont have what you are looking for, may be you could approach them with a schematic/detailed drawing of what you would like to have, and may be it is doable for them?
