"Redline" — TIE Punisher 27

Now this list isn't done obviously. Not even sure if redline will be in the final list. He's the only pilot I know for the TIE Punisher, instead I will probably use the cheapest TIE Punisher pilot and instead use it to make Soontir and his copilot some better upgrades. The basic idea is to use the Interceptor's insanely good dial to maneuver through minefields that are set up by the Punisher. Hopefully forcing the opponent to try to fly through a very dangerous field of about 4 proximity mines

Depending on the pilot cost - assuming you drop down to PS2 - it might free up anywhere from 5-10 points.

10 pt difference in the case of Tie Bomber PS7 to PS2 and 6 in the case of a Tie Advanced.

You might consider Cluster Missles (4) on the Punisher to take advantage of the FCS.

Guessing the PS2 cost 21 points, you could also get a real minefield going and run Soontir + 2 Punishers.

Soontir(27) + PTL(3) + Autothrusters (2) = 32

2 x PS2 Punisher (21) + FCS (2) + Ex Mun (2) + Prox Mines (3) + Prox Mines(3) + Ion Pulse Missles (3) = 68 Total

100 Point build and you can lay out 8 Mines.

ALSO - No telling what the Plasma Torpedoes, Advanced Homing Missles, Ion Bomb, or Cluster Mine bring to the table yet, so there may be many more creative ways to use them.

Thats also a possibility I was thinking two mobile ships and one mine dropper with four mines giving the field a tactical edge to the player and allowing them to have more of a control on the field. With two though that is theoretically 8 mines with a very maneuverable ship and some heavy hitters.

Edit: Also the Ion Pulse and the Fletcheta were deliberate to keep field control but I agree cluster may be better for that
