What I dislike about Star Wars now is how much it got "kiddiefied" over the years. The old trilogy seemed so dark back then, granted maybe this is just nostalgia on my part.

Lucas' pandering to children started well before the new films: the Ewoks from Return of the Jedi were supposed to be Wookies, but Lucas decided to scrap his original vision and make them cutsie to sell more toys...

Not entirly true, the thing is it was suposed to be a primitive people (wookies) fighting the technological might of the empire. Except by the time ROTJ came about the audience was so used to chewbaka being tech savvy and constantly repairing the falcon and putting C3PO back toghether, that George had to come up with a new race.

Not sure why he chose carnviorous teddy bears, but I kinda like Ewoks! They were gonna eat Han!

A scene where the ewoks ate Jar Jar Binks would have redeemed Star Wars. :)

I heard a rumour the only appearence Jarjar was going to make in the new movies was a brief shot of his skull as a scene prop.

A scene of ANYTHING eating jar jar would have redeemed Star Wars.

Captain Needa: "Lord Vader, please! Why do we have to eat this gungan roast beef?"

Vader: "I find your lack of appetite disturbing! Now eat up!"

General Veers: *Omnom nomnom*

Admiral Ozzel: *chokes*

What about Vader himself? I guess he prefers Gungan milk shakes instead of solid food? Or does he take his mask off to eat? :)

MMM gungan slushie. :P

Wich reminds me: in the EU there is mention somewhere of Greedo's corpse getting processed into drinks by the cantina owner. #Eeewww.
