Creativity Pool: Luke´s Sith Title

By Narr666, in Game Masters

I imagine more Luke and Vader overthrowing Palpatine. I can explain it with Luke´s state: As he was abducted in Bespin, he was much weaker, so a "show" like in RotJ wasn´t necessary.

I refute a bit about the notion, that Luke, rulemechanically speaking, has the Emotional weakness “anger”. In my opinion, it is kind of a no-brainer to seduce a Jedi through anger. It is most direct and fuels power fantasies. Additionally, Palpatine exploids in my opinion not Luke´s anger, but Luke´s hate. And hate is the darkest emotion there is I think and everyone can succumb to it.

Because I like calm villains, I imagine Luke´s behaviour like the starting scenes in Jabba´s palace. That´s how I see a Dark Luke. In a calm way threatening, arrogant, mysterious with a kind of frightening wisdom and the knowledge to be superior to anyone else.

oh, and he looks like that.

If Hate is your go to Sith drug for Luke, call him Darth Hass (Hatred).

How about Darth Abolos —separately conjures up shades of "diabolos," "abolition," and a bit of that evil entity we all know and love, "Abeloth."

Diabolos , from the Greek: "properly, a slanderer; a false accuser; unjustly criticizing to hurt (malign) and condemn to sever a relationship" and "' backbiter,' i.e. an accuser, calumniator (slanderer). ( diábolos ) is literally someone who " casts through ," i.e. making charges that bring down (destroy)." Also, of course, whence we get the word "devil."

Abolition : from the Latin, "to destroy" (abolere).

Abeloth : the nigh-impossible-to-kill Force entity of Legend.

Those are way too subtle for a Sith name. You need something that beats you over the head with the meaning (and then make it pseudo-latin).

Darth Angreeus

Darth Sinistrus

Darth Wickedus

Darth Melignantis

Darth Wrathfullus

Darth Depravus

Darth Poisonar

Darth Rageus

Darth Traitaar

Darth Violensus

(apologies if any of those are actual Sith names already)

If Hate is your go to Sith drug for Luke, call him Darth Hass (Hatred).

I´m German myself. That´s why the German words would sound cheap on my table. For other people i.e. Darth Zorn would sound awesome, but for me it sounds like Darth Wrath for an English speaking person. Or Darth Hatred in your examplle.

You all have given so good examples, that I have now problems to decide.... :D
