Ongoing expansion support?

By Ophion, in Star Wars: Armada

A question in particular for those that have played FFG games for a while.

Do we think the expansions will continue to be available into the future?

Like, in two years time, do you think we will still be able to buy a rebel fighters pack or a Neb B kit?

Or does FFG tend to let the packs sell out and move onto other things.

Just asking because long term I would like to run both fleets.

But I see lots of game stores only stocking the most recent X wing stuff now.

You can still get the older X-wing product, but everything is done in print runs. So you may find from time to time there are periods where things are sold out and awaiting a reprint. But usually becomes available again.

As Wes Janson said, FFG does reprint existing expansions, but they are occasionally out of print or hard to find from time to time while waiting to be reprinted. X-Wing and Armada aren't M:TG, and nothing goes permanently out of print.

Repeating the others. Everything will stay in print, but FFG is notorious for not being able to keep up with demand so stuff occasionally is out of stock for months at a time.

Amen to the above, and to add my two bits it wouldn't allow FFG to keep a fair and competitive tournament scene if there were collectors ships you could only have by getting into the game three years ago sort of scenarios. Thankfully pay to win is not their style.

Awesome, thanks all.
