Even as an Imperial player, I'm getting tired of seeing Darth Vader so much. He appeared 4 times in our first campaign, meanwhile Weiss (the main villian) appeared once and IG-88 not even a single time. I know Darth Vader is super popular (and for good reason) but he DOES have things to do.

Yea, like getting a super shine on his helmet between episodes 4 and 5, in which this game takes place. That modified flight suit don't buff its self you know, what do you think that meditation chamber is for?

Didn't have him appear once in the campaign I recently completed... just depends on what missions you end up playing. We had IG88 appear once, and Weiss appear twice (though his first appearance was a bit redundant... massive AT-ST on the 2nd last turn of the game early in the campaign? Just run away and he can't do anything).

I wish Luke could appear in a single mission without Darth Vader being there. Darth is in the mission to 'unlock' Luke AND in the mission with Luke's hero pack.

We had vader once, ig88 once, and Weiss twice.

Vader appeared in his own mission, the finale and came into play with the As You Wish agenda card on one of the side missions.

There are two missions in the campaign I think that include him (one of the finales and one version of Mission 2) and any further appearances are the doing of your Imperial player through agendas and your own through side missions.

I have a hard time getting enough threat to get him out. I'd usually rather spend that threat getting more units into play rather than wait several turns to save enough to deploy him.

Aw crap, one of the new agenda missions involves Luke. You know what that means!
