R2-D2 "Icon"

By Thrasher, in Star Wars: Imperial Assault

swi10-componentspread.png Anyone know what the Icon is next to R2-D2's name?

Interesting. Good eye. If you notice, R2D2's figure token is also different from the circle ones that are used for Boba Fett and C3P0. It's a little green triangle instead. I wonder if R2D2 will have some kind of special deployment rules or some sort of mechanic that makes him different from what we've seen so far.

Good eye you too

I thought the Triangular token was somthing to do with Saska's "Device" mechanic.

Perhaps the Icon refers in some way to Threepio and their "counterpart" status :)

Green triangle is probably a mission token of some sort as that's not a pic of R2.

Pretty sure the green token is the Device tokens from Saska's abilities.

Anyways, the theory is that there are 2 versions of R2-D2 and C-3PO. One for skirmish and one for campaign.

The Icon after R2-D2's name is the symbol on the back of every mission card - the planet. This would imply that this version of R2 would only be played in the campaign.

Bah, you guys are right. That's not an R2D2 token, that looks like some sort of device. Probably Saska's devices!

Ahh OK, interesting on the 2 versions for the variant play styles.
