But if you aren't already signed up, X-wing is sold out!
World's registration is live!
That was quick.
yep i got the whole waiting waiting waiting sorry sold out crap
So, X-wing is the Amiibo of gaming?
I got in.
Apparently there may be some more seats that come available in the future.

That registering process was retarded.
Fill all of your complete information out -twice! Miss a field and - oopps, thank you for the code but you aren't finishing registering for your event.
For the future Organized Play
1) register people before the event on the software you wish to use. All accounts are made well before hand and interest in games can be gauged so appropriates resources are allocated.
2) Duplicating information is asking for trouble in a timed environment. Here's an oldie but a goodie. Digital information can be copied and stored. So when someone activates their link to go back to their account- autofill the f***k out of that s****. I missed duplicating one field exactly and now I'm in Organized play limbo on whether I got in before the cap.
Also, logged in and paid for event ticket in 2mins (12:02) after it went live. Waited 5 mins for the confirmation e-mail to get to me.( E-mails take longer to go through servers the farther out they have to travel). Re-registering for the exact event was called off at 12:17 as the code got eaten by the registrar. After phoning twice and sending an e-mail with all the details, left to go back to work at 12:30.
Do not do registering like this ever again.
Nov 4th is still far away. People have till October 2nd to get refunds. So more seats might become available if people drop.
For the record it worked great for me, and I was doing it on a cell phone using wifi on a bus in rural Spain... Started right at noon and registered for X-wing, Armada, and Imperial Assault.
Except for the pain of waiting for the second confirmation email, I had no troubles.
I just wish it wasn't set up in such a way that I pay them and then are told my event's sold out. That money won't make it back to me for at least a week due to how credit refunds work.
I registered without incident as well.

This, a thousand @#$%ing times this.
I guess i didn't have any problems really just that X-WIng sold out so **** fast. What was the cap number 256? I mean this game next year should be 3 days BY ITSELF.
Cap was lower than 256 as seats are reserved for national and regional winners.
Org. Play got back to me. My registration didn't go through so I get a full refund. Took my code, wouldn't let me have a chance to finish registering. Didn't bother looking at log times for the code or such just a here's a refund sorry our crappy add-hock system screwed you over.
Where's the dislike button... ![]()
Well looks like the last of the regionals just got much more competitive
My son and I will be making the trip down from Canada. Looking forward to Worlds, should be a fun event!
I can't wait for Worlds. I'm so excited.
Thought they really need to do something about the size of the World Tournament.

Me too Paul. I'm coming from Saskatchewan. Where are you coming from?
Jacob
There was supposed to be two of us from Winnipg, but only I got in. Now we debate what to do. Hoping to get another seat.
The second email took forever to come. Strange strange system.
Edited by TnTThis is really upsetting.
Ive been advance coordinating this with family and work. Ive been really wxited about coming out for xwing.
Im not fighting for scraps. I often get to busy with family/work and it just isnt feasable to constantly lurk.
I hope they do better next year. I wanted to compete...now Im cut off, as are others. I think FFG dropped the ball on this one.
I could rant further. Not really much point.
Edited by DeadshaneSecond time FFG dropped the ball (first being nationals)
And I was just getting up the courage to broach the subject with my wife, lol
I would also like to state that worlds will be played by some great players (who have won regionals) but also allot of meh players who got their ticket just because they are faster. FFG need to either allow for a bigger tournament or create some type of point system).

Err, yea, but that was gonna happen anyway right? The system really has nothing to do with that. Limited seats does.
