I felt like I was having a brain freeze last night, discussing with a buddy how to improve his Fat Han list. He was running 61 points of Han (including MF, EU, Lando and Chewie crew), with a Flechette-loaded Nera (including C-3PO in the E2 backseat) making up the balance of 39 points.

I advised him that the typical Fat Han build had Corran as the wing mate. But then I started googling around for builds, and started to think maybe I had my thinking backwards -- that Corran (with R2-D2, FCS, etc) I a more common wingman to Super Dash. Because outfitting Corran with the usual upgrades leaves Han not very fat within the 100 point limit.

So this became a question: if your plan is to field a Fattish YT with Corran as the must-have wingman, do you go with Han or Dash?

For that matter, which version is more common at premiere events?

I played vs a fat han + corran in a casual-ish game at my local store ( I was seeking out a fat list to face)

Corran was missing his ATS to free up points, I'm not sure what han was missing.

Dash is more common. They are both competitive.

You can fit Han with 3PO, Gunner, title and VI in a list with 44-point standard Corran. It's very good, but not real common. I'm not really sure why that is.

I guess people want predator on Han, so you see VI Corran instead

Corran's a right scary lil bugger, but I guess the VI thing fell out of favor along with Whisper

I would probably drop gunner for Rec spec and pick up lone wolf if it was me. But i haven't run Han/Corran since last September. Might be a good reason people don't do that.

maybe for a budget YT, but I haven't seen a YT-1300 that wasn't boosting or evading

plus, gunner adds to the most forgiving ship in the game by being completely action independent just like c3po and predator

What is ATS? Usually we see FCS (Fire-Control System) on Corran.

Maybe this:

Han (PTL, C-3PO, Nien Numb, Millenium Falcon, Engine Upgrade)

Corran (VI, FCS, R2-D2)

100 points

But I would go with Chewie instead of Han...

the common Dash is HLC, Outrider, Kyle, Engine.

Horn is V.I, FCS, R2-D2 or PTL if dropping HLC --> mangler respectively

there is also predator + gunner + cp30 + engine + title Chewie,and it's something I've had to endure a few times in my local meta.

For some reason, people there say that EU on Chewie is ass even though it evades generics and re-purposes Chewie as the world's fattest prototype pilot, something Soontir absolutely detests

Whenever I see Corran paired with a YT-1300 it isn't Han, normally Chewie
