Minion Question and a zero wound threshold

Just checking, but I thought in the core book it said that player characters are only

incapacitated when their wound threshold goes BELOW zero, so having 0 wounds left doesn't incapacitate them, only negative would.

So... does the same rule apply to minions? because if it does, wouldn't that mean 3 minions with a wound threshold of 6 each, would take 7 wounds to destroy each one? I'm guessing it doesn't apply to minions as well.

I play it that when a minion reaches zero wounds, he's out of the fight (dead, unconscious, or disabled). I believe this is the intent of the minion rules, zero wounds is the end of the line for them.

Well first off wounds in this system count up, not down. 0 wounds is fine, -1 wound is.... superfine?

But yes, if you have 3 grouped minions with a WT of 6 each, you'll be removing one minion for every 7 wounds you inflict.

I believe the wounds still roll over, so the 7th wound that removes minion A becomes the first applied to minion B, with the total wounds required to remove the entire group from play being 19, just as if they were a single Rival with a WT of 18.

No, minions follow the same rule as everyone else: when your current damage exceedes your Wound Threshold, you're out. That means 1 above WT if you're counting up from zero, or -1 wounds if you count down from the WT.

A minion group of 4 minions, each with a WT of 5, is completely defeated when you reach a total of 21 wounds dealt to the minion group.

Basically, each time your minion group has taken damage totaling a number equal to (or higher than) a multiple of a single minion's Wound Threhsold +1 (so in the above example, 6, 11, 16, and 21), one minion is removed from the group.
