Reanimate Infantry: Is this a common card with an alternate artwork or a unique command you would take advantage of game-wise as an undead player?

Has anybody seen this card yet?

I'm hoping it's just a card with new artwork, and not a brand-new card. I'd be kind of irritated if they made it a new command that's only available to people who happen to know a FLGS that's getting this.

Agreed. Doesn't really sound FFG, tho, so I'm confident it's just new art

Alternative art cards are a standard ffg prize, if this promo kit is a prototype for an OP prize kit then it will be alternative art.

Is there a way for your average customer to get a hold of these promo kits?

I know they're aimed at retailers to promote the product but I'm looking at getting a copy of Battlelore 2nd Ed. and really liked the look of the new undead army too. This set would be a perfect starting kit it seems

I doubt it could be ordered from FFG without a retail account, but if anyone knows otherwise, or if certain online retailers would sell them, let me know

Talk to your local retailer, he may order you a copy if you offer to run the demo games.

It's a win win situation, you get to keep the mat and a promo card, You also get the unread army early, and he may get more sales of battlelore.

If this does get the full OP treatment next year getting to grow the local playerbase now, and getting to meet some of them, will only benefit you in the long run. Besides if you do a good job the store owner would be more willing to let you run a tournament or league.

I'm in the same position, if this was available in Europe I'd try and get hold of a copy even if it meant buying a 2nd copy of battlelore.

My local store tried to order it (for me) and apparently they sold out fast. I'm hoping they at least make the playmat/map available for order.

Again, another reason to know which stores got them. Would make for some good publicity plus the folks who like Battlelore will have a chance for this artwork too.

I've contacted FFG to see if they will make that list available. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

Same as I have. Pretty sad that FFG doesn't even has a store location where their product is sold.
