I'm not much of a painter, but there is a guy who plays at our FLGS who is incredible at it. I am going to commission him to paint up my Hounds Tooth in a classic Optimus Prime style. When we non GenCon goers can get our hands on it, of course...

Working on Starscream right now, and planning on getting two more Most wanted sets, I'm reserving one Z-95 for Laserbeak to be used as the Nashtah pup together with a Soundwave Hounds tooth, but the other 3 will become Thrust, Ramjet and one of the rainmakers

In addition to Mindwipe, I'd also like to suggest Ratbat as a Starviper.

So oddly enough I had the poster/catalog foldout from the first run of transformers in my pocket when I clicked on this thread. So according to that Rumble is red and Frenzy is blue.

Also these look amazing, and I love that you picked the ultra obscure Deluxe insecticon for the Scyk (I always wanted that one).

did a quick paintscheme in photoshop, although not sure if I have the proper shade of purple paint for rumble, might have to make a trip to the shop first to see if I can find something close enough

As for doing X-wings as aerialbots, I only started playing and buying a few weeks ago and so far have only bought Scum, I don't even have a starterbox yet , One of the reasons I started Scum was so I could do outlandish paintjobs without it looking too much out of place, I think Rebels and Empire would probably look better with more traditional schemes, although I have seen some more colourful interpretations that look great. But for the time being I'm sticking to scum (and Decepticons)

You need to have 4 of those transform into a huge ship with 8 hull and 8 shields.

Great paint schemes! The Transformers Animated Decepticon motto seems quite fitting; "Decepticons, transform and rise up."

And Houndimus is perfect.

I love the original series of transformers, these paint jobs are instantly recognisable!

Dude, that's awesome! My first reaction was: "What? Transformers toy? He transforms into what now? " and then quickly followed by "Wait, I know that thing... It's the Hound's Tooth!" and "Whoah!".
