The card says I can spend 1 energy to add 1 die to my roll. If I had 3 energy on the card can I add 3 or is it set at just 1 for 1.

I saw someone dump a ton of energy on an attack once but to me that doesnt seem to read that way. I was thinking it was one for one and no more.

The card says you may spend 1 energy to gain 1 additional die, not multiple energy to gain multiple dice. This other dude was wrong. And it's restricted to primary weapon only.
