Speed blast skirmish squad

I call it speed blast since it try's to cut the rounds you have to play down by a full round and goes right at people. It's not a fast squad when it comes to speed but when it comes to playing the squad it plays really fast. I try and get in their face turn to pull th away from going at missions and cutting down on activations. I use what's called as a deep strike early turn 1 or a mid round strike in turn 1 and 2 to break out the action.

there are other versions that are doing well that have gaarkan or jyn over a a Sab. I think they all play close to this build.

Imperials are clearly the top dog but I think rebels have a place.

To be honest I am posting this just because I wanted to name something with speed in it to make me think about the speed deal days swccg. Now that I finally won a regional thought I could do that.

I just kind of shoehorn any Sab build into the 'Rebel Blast' archetype.

It's a rebel 8Act with lots of blast and stun. Blast Officers, stun Vader, RGC, RGs etc.

It's really fast, too. Add in some movement by Command Cards and all the Leader and Heavy Weapon Cards and you'll have a pretty good list.

But this is realy expensive.

I love the Rebel High Command. When a new 3-point-figure is released, I'd like to replace one unit of regular sabs with Rebel High Command and this figure (maybe R2-D2 or C-3PO?).

The problem with going full sab is that you don't have an answer to Vader, RGC, Weiss or Chewie. Luke is your beat but also one has one of the best abilities in the game for allies. That reroll is huge mid game.

Son of skywalker is a great answer to get luke deep on maps for the speed missions.

I am starting to like the version that uses Jyn/Sab vs sab x2. Since Jyn can control missions better and a good answer at sticking people because of stun and her out of turn shot.

Thanks it was only 8 people all top 5 were have made many top 8 at gencon for other events or won won a regional event for another game.

High Command I just don't think its worth it since in most games I only play 3 if I am lucky 4 rounds. Thats only an extra 2 cards most games for a cost of 2 pts. Just not worth it to me. I like the cost of Balance of Force at +1.

I like it a lot more because it balances out your command deck.
