Timing question RE: H9 Turbolasers + Warlord

By Cuthawolf, in Star Wars: Armada

Was just looking through different combos for if I'm ever called on to command a VSD again, and came on this idea. I'm not certain if it works out this way, but my thought would be you could take both H9 Turbolasers and Warlord on the same VSD. Then if you were to roll a single hit on one of your red dice, you could use H9 to turn that hit into an accuracy, then use Warlord to turn THAT accuracy into a double hit.

Would that work?

If both modifications to the die occur during the same stage/phase (apologies, I am not 100% on the terminology without looking it up) it should be OK as the order of actions within the stage/phase can usually be determined by (in thus case) the attacker.

Yup. You can.

Yes. Perfectly legal since you decide in which order to apply the effecta.

Just to be clear, you cannot apply both the accuracy AND the double hit you are simply allowed to modify hit to accuracy to double hit.

A dice may only have one face.

Er, I mean, it has 8 faces, but you can, er, nvm...
