Objective cards for an Imperial list?

By Intys Rule, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I'm pretty fond of my VSD, so my lists so far have either been two Vics or one Vic and one Gladiator. However, so far I've been too engrossed in the ships and upgrades to pay any attention to the Objective Cards I select for my list. I just used to pick what I could understand and select those.

After a few games, I'm starting to realize that the objective cards chosen could make or break my games. I really love Contested Outpost as I can just cruise into range and gain points plus if the enemy wanted to challenge me, he'll have to fly into a lot of hurt. I've also enjoyed Intel Sweep with my Vic and Gladiator (with Wulff and Engine Tech) as my Vic just basically flew cover while the Gladiator scooped up the objectives.

I'm having a hard time picking a red objective card though. Advanced Gunnery was what I used to pick and I'd just make sure I'd steer clear of his objective ship but that didn't really go so well (I was first player). Playing my son, he loved Most Wanted as being able to add two dice (one for each of his ships) was so much better compared to me adding just one (we were playing with just the core set then). I've never done Precision Strike or Opening Salvo.

So, can anyone recommend objective cards for an Imperial list that mostly goes for firepower? Like I said, I prefer stuff that makes the opponent somewhat predictable (Contested Outpost, Intel Sweep), but I'm open to other suggestions.

Thanks!

Advanced Gunnery generally favours imperials, particularly with VSDs. But you could consider Most Wanted. You would select your VSD, forcing your opponent to take heat off your weaker Gladiator. You also select a target that you plan to kill first anyways. Preferably one with some upgrades. A nebulon or enemy Gladiator make good choices. Remember, if YOUR objectives are being played, you are second player. (The first player must choose to play one of the second player's chosen objective cards)

If you have multiple victories, consider Opening Salvo. It doesn't take much to break lighter rebel ships in half, but you need to do it in one turn or they tend to rearrange shields, or turn to present undamaged facings, and it's hard to catch them again.

If you can time it right to throw a forward guns spread with Opening Salvo, Concentrate Fire and a Concentrate Fire token with multiple destroyers on the same target, I can assure you said ship is going to be an expanding cloud of vapour by the time you've finished....

I currently run Hyperspace assault, Advanced Gunnery, and Superior Positions for my fleet.
