I had a crack at repainting one of my vanilla interceptors into an ace, with a squadron logo and kill markings. Let me know what you think!

Yep! I just picked a bomber I'm going to give a similar treatment, my worry was going over the top and having them too big, don't think I could have gone much smaller without losing the very rough shapes of the ywings, xwing and awings but I think it's worked out okay

Very nice work. I hate doing fiddly freehand bits, but clearly, you've got the skill and patience.

Not to gum up the forum with too many extra posts, given how easy this was to repaint the first, I've moved on to project two, a repaint of a TIE bomber. Not much to see here, just a washed and scrubbed model fresh from the box. I've altered my photo setup a bit, I think it's a bit better? I think grey is a bit clearer.
I've given it a thorough cleaning to remove any grease, I'll not be stripping this first, maybe in future but for the time being I haven't the setup for it.

Love the squadron and kill markings. I've been thinking about this treatment for my TIE Defenders for a while now, but I've never actually seen an example that I like because most people don't go into such small detail. Yours is awesome!
