Yes he might sometimes lose games. Since he'll be in nearly all of them that is inevitable.

yeah i can see Fel dominating in a small ships only environment.

I have found the best games i've played have consisted of either huge epic battles with lots of big base ships or smaller dogfights with all small base ships.

I've found that large base ships in the 100 point format quite often lead to a less interesting game.

Mainly as there are fewer pieces moving and its a slog to kill anything.

(Shrugs) if people had more arcs, fel wouldn't be a problem. He's still got a frail frame, just give him a barrage and he will waiver if you catch him, key difference is that his support wouldn't be a gigantic 16 wound turret that somehow obtains incredible evasion ability. I find such evasion granting cards silly, ships should either have or not have it.

Naturally new ships will rise to the top of a different meta, all games with a variety of different pilots will have a naturally elite pilot set, key difference is the game would go to being about dogfighting, like it should have been untended to.

is this game really so poorly balanced that giving turrets the boot would devolve it into Fel everywhere? He is not an easy ship to fly, you know, and he's certainly no old whisper.

Well, I guess the only solution is to house rule jar jar blinks into every battle, then everyone will deny x-wing ever existed! Xd

I think it's a great idea! Then we could have balloons instead of miniatures and we could give each other hugs instead of competing! Scratch that! At that point we'd all have to 'fly casual' and just compliment each other before hugging! But what to call it?...
