Assuming things go well – and when don't they when it comes to international shipping – we'll be seeing both in July.
Core Book and GM Kit are on the boat
Huzzah!
And so it begins again. . . .

Now let's just hope they don't have the extreme delay that the FaD Beginner Box had between getting on the boat and being sent out for shipping.
Still, if they're on the boat now, and that usually taking 4 to 6 weeks, we might just see these on store shelves before GenCon.
According to the UK distributer Esdevium, the Beginner Box will be in UK stores this Tuesday...
Which was nice.
Looking at timings, I'm guessing it will be at Gen Con first.
And so it begins again. . . .
"This is F5 -- I'm going in..."
Can't wait!
Yeah, to me all three core rule books make the complete game. So once these books are in the stores will FFG Star Wars be complete. I will be picking up the splat books as well, but all three core books are the basis of the game.
Then hopefully we can have a united 'Star Wars Roleplaying' site and forum...
Anyway, looking forward! ![]()
Just got my Beginner Game, yea.
Can't wait to get my hands on the F&D CRB, if only to see what made the final cut!
I sorta hope it doesn't come out till Gen con, cause I don't know if I can wait to pick it up till then if it hits before(I like giving my money directly to FFG for this, I support my local LGSs plenty).
Amazon says core rulebook available on October 30th, which seems very wrong. And the GM Kit available September 30, which seems wrong as well.
I suspect that Amazon picks it's release dates by throwing darts at a calendar. While Blindfolded. And drunk. And not really darts, but using paperclips vaguely folded into the shape of a dart.

Yeah, trusting Amazon for must have new RPGs is... not wise. They invent dates, and sometimes don't release until those dates even if it has been released. And others if you pre-order on said page, it DOES get released, on a different 'page' so you wait and wait while others get their books.
Moral of the story? Amazon, only good for already released RPGs!

These dart points – too accurate for sand people – only Imperial Stormtroopers are so precise.

The best of these was the twitter one that took 5 years between.
IS IT HERE YET?!
I MIGHT BE A LITTLE ANXIOUS TO PURCHASE THIS BOOK.
AND WHY AM I SHOUTING?
Now Chronicles of the Gatekeeper is at the printer....but Strongholds of Resistance is still in development. What is going on with that book?
Spy, likely it is harder to make a Rebel Base than it is to write a story about a Force User?

I need to ask you to stop that...shouting. It's making people nervous
