GenCon 2012 Top 4 lists

Doing a little bit of archeology, here :)


Im doing an estadistic analysis of the evolution of the x-wing metagame wave to wave (use of ships, number of it...) from the start of the game to now, but its really hard find some lists...


Im looking for the top4 lists of x-wing gencon 2012 tournament. (Yes, I know its a lot of time, sorry)


I found an article from the Team Covenant page about the final match, but I could not find anything about the Top 4 list of that year


Does anyone know which were those lists? or Where can I find it? or Some clues about it?

Good question I would love to know too. I thought that was the first time they demoed the game. I believe that Doug Kinney was there.

Got any info on the 2013 Nationals? I wasn't tracking then.

Top 4 from 2013 was a triple Bounty Hunter, 2 TIE Swarms (both 7 ships, if I remember right) and a Luke/Wedge/Biggs setup that used Draw Their Fire and R2-D2 on Luke plus shield upgrades all around.

Yes, now we have Strawberry flavor, along with Chocolate and Vanilla.

I know one of the top 4 places for Gencon 2013 was flying BH + HLC x2 with Howlrunner + Swarm tactics. He lost to the Luke/Wedge/Biggs list in semis.

Must of not realized that Howlie only works for Primary weapons.

all pancakes though, which you'll get sick of really quickly :(

unless you want the candied Beatles, which I hear are a delicacy in certain countries

although that could just be that we've been eating pancakes for so long we've forgotten how to eat other food

Firesprays often spend half the game using the Rear arc, so.. :)

1.) You mean that match where the most shenanigans a player could bring to bear was R2-D2 on Luke, and where all the manuevers they made actually mattered and they didn't get 4 dice attacks + gunner + FCS?

2.) Our current meta lacking list variety isn't the problem. The problem is that the most common list archetype strips all the fun out of the game.
