was trying to get this yesterday to upgrade my basic game to season pass. can someone confirm the season pass is indefinite? or is it only valid for some season?

The Season Pass includes everything except the base game and Shaman character that has already been released, and everything that will be released in the future. So, when the City, Woodlands, Nether Realm, etc are released, you will get those as part of the Season Pass. The Shaman is the only excluded item, but that is because it was created specifically as a charity fundraiser where the digital game developers are donating all sales to SpecialEffects. Apparently, it isn't just profits going to the cause, but actually all sales for it, they are not recovering their development costs for that particular dlc.

I have had Digital Talisman awhile. I actually won the base game and Reaper in a contest and slowly bought the expansions when they were on sale, even most of the characters (again when on sale). But never played it (well I tried it for like 8 minutes). But now that I have 2 board expansions I finally started playing. I have over 2 games played now. 1 game I played was with the new Shaman character, very interesting, undecided if I like it. The last game I played (last night/early morning) I had the Dark Cultist and got the Rune Sword, wow that is a powerful combo! I went top the CoC with like 15 lives. I won of coarse.

I have everything except Sacred Pool, new and hasn't hit a sale, and a small handful of custom characters that do not interest me.

Agree the handful of custom characters are just shocking. Most need balancing out to become playable in serious games (Like you can have serious games anyway :) ).
