Those little details make my fleet mine and your fleet yours. I don't need more than a flagship marker usually or a number marker to know which ships is which.
Is Armada gonna make it?
If the miniatures would not have been prepainted, I would not have bought SW:A.
I am a wargamer for more than 37 years and I thoroughly, utterly detest painting, always have. And I am probably not the only one.

And there's no problem with that whatsoever - my comments were only because people were declaring majorities and everyone's left right and center ![]()
I'd like the choice - but the lack of choice hasn't stopped me grabbing all of Wave 1, either.
I don't understand. . . How would you get a choice with any new game. . . Please tell me a game that actually gives you a choice between pre-painted and unpainted miniatures
Um, I did give one example previously. Didn't I? It didn't happen right away, but it did happen...
How long did that take them to do if I may ask? Did they have that set up after 4 months or was it longer?
No, longer - but the only people I'm criticizing here are those who declare absolutes.
I guess I'm kinda anti-Sith that way, huh?
Jedi? Lol. I think it's all fine. You can't please everyone

Same here...if I had to assemble or paint, I wouldn't have bought in.
Prepainted models plays to those who are instant gratification types (I am one of those)
Or who just aren't painters (but moreso gamers)
I am by far not an instant gratification person, (I went to graduate school) but I dont have the opportunity to paint anymore so I would be less likely to have bought in if had to paint. If I wanted to paint I have plenty of stuff in boxes to scratch that itch.
