What is the best signature that you people have seen? Just wondering.

For my part, I started doing it because it was a handy way to reference what I have for those threads where I was looking for list suggestions and people threw out a bunch of suggestions using stuff that I didn't have.

I think the ship list signature started pretty early in this game's existence when people would ask, "What should I build?" and others would respond with, "What do you have?" So people started putting ships-owned in their signatures. Other people then got on who didn't understand the context but felt like adding it as well until that became a standard signature.

As for me, my collection isn't that big so it's nothing to brag about and I frequent so many other game forums on FFG's site that it would be irrelevant to have ships in my signature.

There's somebody on here who's taken the USMC's Rifleman's Creed and turned it into a satire of signature one-upmanship, making it my favourite.

I loathe sigs on forums. There's always a few people who take it way, WAY too far. Plus, they're pointless. Your name is on every post, so no need for a signature.

I mean that can't be all it is or you have no use of a computer outside of this forum apparently. You can keep track of those things in a text file on your desktop or a sticky note or a tattoo.

I use my computer for plenty of other things. I can keep track of it other ways. This is the way I chose. I don't really care if you want to believe me or not. Don't tell me how to live my life. You're not my real dad.
