I've been playing this game 2-3 years now, and local shop is going to run tournament. I tried in Storechapionships with Dash+Horn-list but it just didnt worked out. So im trying to approach the situation with another angle. Not running around gameboard, but driving fast in the enemylines. So what you guys think about this? Ive been playtested it twice with my friend and GF, and it worked fine, but tournamet is tournament. Something to fine-tune? Like ditching Isard and but Vader in to do some Dark Side tricks?

Oicunn does what it does... goes in and make some damage and Echo dances around the table making some serious damage.

I know there are ppl who really like Rebel Captive on their phantoms, but I'm pretty convinced that Recon Specialist is the better choice for Echo. Whisper I can see Rebel Captive making more sense (although ultimately Gunner is her BFF).

In this case though, you should definitely put Rebel Captive on the decimator. It will activate more times (because it takes longer to kill a decimator, except perhaps against swarms, but then it won't activate on the phantom because you'll be dodging arcs). Now you could put Mara on Echo, but it won't always help. I think Recon is a better choice because it will protect Echo against turrets and high PS enemies that are difficult for Echo to arc-dodge.

Ive been thinking also to but Rebel Captive on Deci, but the thing is when enemy has two targets, cloacked Phantom with RC or Deci, will he take stress by attacking.

Also 2x Avenger Autothurster Interceptors has been in mind... or Whisper.

And what about to swap Daredevil to Determination to block those pilotcrits?

Note that using Daredevil with Dauntless will leave you with 1 stress (or 2 if you didn't initially do a green maneuver or 3 if you have a critical hit turning maneuvers red) thus preventing Ysanne from activating in the combat phase.

Yeah I suppose if you can keep the number of ships pointing at Echo down to just one, then RC makes sense. If there are 2+ enemies though, then its likely the enemy will still shoot at the phantom. You can always try with Echo and see how you like it --- switch to Whisper if its not working.

You mean 2 alpha interceptors w/ AT instead of Echo? If you wanted to go interceptor, I would suggest Soontir Fel----he's anywhere between 32 - 36 pts, so leaves you some room to add more to your decimator. And he's pretty much better than 2 PS 1 interceptors by himself...

Determination is good on a decimator. Just depends on your preference---do you want to use your EPT to keep your ship alive longer or to deal more damage over time?

Could also set instead a Soontir with Wingman Title, SD AT. That way when oic does his shenanigans have fel swoop in and start of combat take a stress get that focus and for 34 points have a decent wingman. and that way Oic can repeat the process the following turn.
