Long overdue, but May was a bad month for a variety of reasons. I finally got it all finished.

Regionals Report - Tulsa, OK - 09MAY15
Thanks for the write up. I'm running a very similar Xizor list and happy to see it do well. I'm taking Flechette Torps on Xizor and have found hitting one Iggy on the start with a stress helps stop that S-loop or K-turn that you know is coming. Also, if it's a PTL one and he takes it, the double stress is even better.
There were a pair of Xizor and meatshield lists in Tulsa, and both made top 8. I think it can be a very strong list when played well (and somewhat depending on the matchup). Any kind of swarm or mini-swarm can be tough for dual Aggressor. I like the Flechette Torpedo idea, as it can be highly effective against a variety of lists (if attempting to double stress) or simply effective against most ships in the right situation.
I haven't tried PTL Aggressor yet, but I would only run it in a build that used Advanced Sensors so I could take 2 actions before moving and still end activation with no stress. Pushing for a second action after moving would be something I did only in extreme situations.
Edited by SeaRaptorI've been following the discussions on Xizor as much as possible. I'm pretty happy with playing it. It's pretty good against a lot. The Z's are great for blocking YT's. It's the arc dodgers that I'm worried about. I'm getting better at playing bro bots, but they their high agility means I can fire with a lot of Z's to no effect. I've won and lost against bro bots.
I can't take credit for my list ideas as I had a base idea for the list, but found great advice from others online. The Flechette Torpedo is one of those.
Someone at the last event I was at called my list "Prince and the New Power Generation" and I love it.
While being credited at the originator of a list can be fun, I would much rather be credited as the guy who took a list and played it to it's maximum potential. ![]()
Looking forward to meeting you in Raleigh on Saturday!
Nice write-up. Can you elaborate what happened in your 5th game? I'm having trouble with reading comprehension or something and I'm not exactly sure what happened. I agree based on that situation it seems like you should have had that one.

The short version is that I got outplayed.
The longer version is that with the hard turns on the Firespray dial and Engine Upgrade, I could never quite get him in arc when I wanted to. The chase started with both Aggressors behind him, and we did at least one loop around the central asteroid cluster that way. He made excellent use of the asteroids and the fact that I had to move before he did to keep me from engineering the firing setups that I wanted. When I eventually broke one Aggressor off and attempted to catch him in a pincer, he diced one of my ships off the table before it could fire (having just boosted out of range of the other one). Everything I tried to do to kill Boba failed, including jousting him at Range 3, then boosting and K-turning in behind him.
