So was on ign and just saw that the new Lego set names for the force awakens were revealed. One in particular stood out and it's called the first order special force tie fighter. I'm guessing this is the "heavy" tie variant we've been seeing. Also there is another called kylo rens command shuttle. Wonder if these will make it into the next wave? Also what will we call the new tie now that it's name is known? Special force tie? Tie special?

Yes it is indeed. Also there was a picture of a leaked Lego set as well, you could prolly google it but I'm pretty sure it's kylo Rens shuttle. Except in the Lego pic the wings are straight up like in landing mode and my guess is from the trailer we see a sort of "V" shaped craft being escorted to the star destroyer. I'm thinking they are the same except in flight mode the wings fold into a "V" shape and landing they fold straight up. The other weird thing tho is in another picture it looks like the wings rotate forward as well but it could be an entirely different ship. However the wing shape looked similar.

True but then they also use the real names just as often ex. Tie advanced prototype, imperial assault carrier, atdp, xwing, atat, bwing, t16 sky hopper. Those are the current ones on the lego page so ide say more than a few have the actual names. I mean it's all speculation still and it very well may end up being called something else but this is what we have for now until something different says otherwise.

They use "popular" names. A Delta-7 is a Jedi Starfighter, an Eta-2 a Jedi Interceptor. Yes, it'll be a special forces TIE fighter, but it'll have a more in-universe designation.
