Encounter involving lieutnant.

By Bashwilly, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

Hello, a simple question here.

In an encounter involving lieutnant, the overlord have access to a little number of card.

When the rules mentioned that 2 cards without a trachery cost can be had to the overlord hand for one trachery of the correct type:

Is this one trachery for the two card (To add 2 non-trachery trap card to his hand, the overlord pay 1 purple trachery) In this case, he don't have the choice to take the two card in the same type.

Or one trachery for each card (To add one trap card and one spawn card, he have to spend une purple and one red trachery)?

If you have bought treachery ie 2 points of purple, you can have 2x1 point purple cards 1x2 point purple card or 4 standard cards, hope that makes sense.

Also, the "standard" cards you pick must be within the same treachery category (trap/monster/event)

1 point of trap treachery gets you: 1 treachery trap card of your choice of cost 1 or 2 non-treachery trap cards of your choice

If you want 1 spawn and 1 trap card you will need to have both red and purple treachery. If you have purchased 1 of each, you have alot of options: each point can get you either 1 treachery card of that type or 2 non-treachery cards of that type. You could get 2 spawns and 2 traps (non-treachery) for example.
