Could be useful if you wanted to play home brew Ghost/snowspeeder stuff, or if you wanted to make some ship debris terrain. The scale seems to be all over the place, but the Y-Wing looks really close to FFG scale from a video review I saw. I've seen a couple of sites selling them around $4.

I saw them.

Unfortunately, it appears that the Slave I is set up to be displayed "flying" on its back. With the "fins" in flight position.

ohhhh I couldn't figure out what the plastic stand was for, but on the back of the box its for a kid to put on their finger and 'fly'. Hot Wheels merch without and wheels? madness!

Yeah, the back of the package even shows the thing flying the wrong way. Don't these things have to be approved by the licensor? Pretty dumb error to get through an approval.

(However, I bet if you handed that ship to 100 people unfamiliar with Star Wars, 98 of them would orient it the wrong way)

It looks sorta like a vacuum cleaner when it is in the wrong orientation.

I once got a bunch of Star Wars MicroMachines for Christmas. At the time I had never seen The Empire Strikes Back or Return of the Jedi and I oriented it the wrong way.

The way the Firespray flies still seems weird to me, but less weird than the off-set cockpit of the YT-1300 and YT-2400.

Walmart and Toys R Us have SW themed hot wheels cars too. They look pretty cool.
