Hey all. We have been having a recurring discussion at my local regarding Turr and Expert Handling.
The question is: can Turr perform a barrel roll after attack per his pilot ability if he chose EH as his action?
I say no, since that would essentially be performing two barrel rolls in one round and even if one (or both, in this case) was "free", you can't choose two of the same per round.
The argument against is that activating EH itself is the action, so the free barrel roll portion of the card text does not count against the "no duplicate actions" rule, and therefore the barrel roll after attack is counted as his only barrel roll.

Any thoughts? I've seen a couple of discussion regarding EH rules but none specifically addressing this question. I would appreciate also maybe some info or direction to info regarding an official ruling on this, since the discussion at the local has hit an impasse and neither side is willing to concede without a clear ruling.

can't remember where it says so, but you are not alloved to make 2 of the same kind.

It is indeed attempting two of the same action more than once per round. Expert Handling is your action, but it does specify to perform a free barrel roll action as part of it, and as such would deny you the option of performing another roll action later in the round. Or, if performed the barrel roll action first, it would deny you the option of using Expert Handling later in the round.

It's one, or the other, not both.
