Thanks everyone for the comments, mates!

And yes, OneKelvin, there was another Ignatius on the forum when I registered, so Nachofante is my member name here ;) .

The Farstar is done. You can see the final results in the previous page.

I forgot this one! The Farstar as fighter carrier (and a better view of interior details):

*Droooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool* :o

Your work is fantastic. I'd be ashamed to put some of my repaints on the same table!

Thanks, Sbloom141! Don't be ashamed. As you can see in my blog, I've re-repainted a lot of little details of my ships as I've learned new techniques from all of you, mates! ;)

Another one:

Inspired by some episodes from the sixth season of the animated series "The Clone Wars" I found an excellent excuse for using Master Yoda in X-Wing Miniatures Game.

I've designed a special scenario for him , available only in spanish.

Wow, it's amazing how you managed to scratchbuild such a small ship! You even got some decent paint apps on R2-D2 despite his head being so tiny.

His ability might be a bit too OP without some restrictions (Maybe excluding red maneuvers and not allowing the maneuver to go off the board), but it's fitting for the character.

Thanks for the feedback,WingedSpider! The ship is really small: 1'5x1'5 cm... Yoda size

Nice suggestion for the rules, too ;)

Thanks! It was the bounty hunter´s ship in KOTOR videogame ;)

Not KOTOR, but, yeah. The funny thing is, it's twice as big as that- which is dumb! I like your size better.

Captain Lackwit: to be honest, I was not sure about the "real" size of the ship, so I decided to use Mel´s Mantis design dimensions (Shapeways) as reference ...

Width Height Depth
8.928 cm 9.15 cm 3.022 cm
Anyway, I'm happy with the final result :) .

I'm working on a few ideas to use infantry and vehicles in special scenarios. Some test minis:

Mandalorian commandos:

The miniatures are converted CinC 6mm miniatures (Solar Empire Marines). I've also used wire, green stuff and jewelry bits.

mandalorians_61.jpg?w=680

mandalorians_5.jpg?w=680

And Her Enormity Grubba the Hutt, Empress of the nine W'embos, Hutt Crime Lord (and her escort). :D

The repulsor plaform is made from different toy bits. The Hutt is a modified supermarket promotional toy...

Gamorrean guards are Epic Orks (first edition ones, from 80's), cutted in half, with a little ball of green stuff to make a bigger body. There is another CinC miniature, modified as a Rodian mercenary.

Those jetpack troopers and Gamorreans are phenomenal, especially at that scale. You keep finding ways to surprise me with good stuff.

Thanks for your words, WingedSpider! This is my first aproach to 6mm infantry painting and converting...but I'm happy with the final product.

Now It's time to work in some imperial ground units...

Another Scum ship: a StarVyper with foldable wings. Enjoy!

With the folded wings in that attack 'pose' it reminds me of a sentinel from the Matrix, coming to hunt you down!

If you're interested in how to fix a Nashtah Pup:

Drill a hole, fill it with putty and cut and glue inside the top of a flight stand.

Hope it helps!
