Beautiful paintjobs, but why would you put n exhaust pipe on the front end of that poor Firespray?

Rocket launching effect failed

Edit: i will blame it on the poor resolution and the fact that i am looking at it in my phone!

There you go.
Perfect work mate, best conversions and paint jobs I have seen to date. I so wish I could do this, though I am too afraid I will just wreck the paint job haha.
Very nice! Is that with magnets or did you make some kind of hinge?

I drilled holes in the wings and the main hull and fixed all the parts with two wire pieces (like two hinges).
Hope it helps
Now that is one good looking Starviper! Say what you want about the Starviper in the game, as a miniature it's good looking and allows some truly spectacular paintjobs.
Dat GOLD!

To be fair, it wasn't my original plan, but when I was painting the yellow highlights I thought: gold + credit symbol= gangsta
Snipped the quote but I absolutely love this ship. The far star is one of my favorites, it's so practical and looks like something a small rebel cell could operate out of...great great work! I would lose my ish if this was ever released by FFG or even a 3D print
Thanks, ZoraTheHutt. This is a Farstar detailed version, but it's possible to make an easier one, building the "hangar side" from plasticard or cardboard, fixing it to a CR-90 corvette and painting the hangar main entrances in blue.
Remeber: wallplugs can be used as docking tubes. Anybody can own a Farstar!
Those tiny droids and pilot have my undying respect.

Thanks, BenderIsGreat
. The pilots are 6mm infantry miniatures painted as rebel pilots. There are three of them inside the Farstar. Droids are scratchbuilt, following the tutorial in my signature.
Hi again!
I’ve decided to post all my creations, including repaints, proxies and scrathbuilt ships in a same thread.
Currently I’m “updating” all my ships at 2.0 version in my Blog (painted bases, more detailed cockpit’s highlights and better photos), so I will post here the finished ships too.
I apologise for any mistakes in my English. Hope you like!
I’m going to start with my latest work: a Scum Firespray repaint.
Are those screws for missiles Lol. Copied the idea except for mines.
Nice! Mines were my first choice, but I wasn't sure if I could make it at this scale.
Well done!
Done an improved version

Have you thought painting the main hull panel lines in darker tones? I think that a brown shadow would works quite well . Adding constrast you'll achieve a more agressive effect.
I did the panel lines with a dark red shade. it doesnt come out very well in the photos. lol
A little update:
This is the final version of my mandalorian Aka'jor shuttle :
See more at my blog's complete entry .Enjoy!

Glorious dude, truly amazing work.. an inspiration
X Wing proxies using Micro Machines. I replaced the original cannons with wire and repainted it as veteran pilots, with multiple battle damages.
These are part of a bigger project and I have used it as test miniatures before painting the capital ship in the same colour scheme. I'm actually working in the " Farstar ", a modified CR-90 Corvette with hangar and these X Wings can be fixed into the docking tubes or act separately. The hangar also includes another X Wing, a custom fighter, infantry miniatures and a lighting system.
You're the Ignatius guy? +10
I think I saw your Farstar on the website, ( OMGoodnessWTFudge that thing is amazing! ) how is it coming?
Man, that's some stellar work there. Your conversions and paint job are pretty awesome.
Thanks everyone for the comments, mates!
And yes, OneKelvin, there was another Ignatius on the forum when I registered, so Nachofante is my member name here
.
The Farstar is done. You can see the final results in the previous page.
I forgot this one! The Farstar as fighter carrier (and a better view of interior details):
