Druid Staff & Alignment

By alboy, in Talisman Rules Questions

My character is of Good Alignment & l have the Druid Staff, l land on a space & draw the Skull Wand which no Good character may have, the Rule Book says you can only change Alignment once per turn, l take it l am l allowed to take the Skull Wand by changeing Alignment to Evil or Neutral.

l can not find a Card in the box to show l have changed my Alignment to Neutral, should there be one. This is the second time l have had problems with there not being enough Alignment Cards.

You can change your alignment after seeing the Adventure card draw IF you haven't already changed it that turn. And no Neutral cards.

You can make a neutral card yourself or take a look at JC's allignment custom cards. gui%C3%B1o.gif

This is a big mistake from FFG to forget the neutral cards.

It can easily be fixed if they add it to a new expansion.

Then again, there have never been any Neutral card AFAIK, so it's no all on FFG.

it you go to TalismanIsland.com (resources >> expanions) and download ITB Part 3, you will find a newly designed Neutral card in there... as well as an Alignment card "back" if you wish to have one sided alignment cards to play the "secret alignment" option described in that package.

Here is a simple solution: Put the alignment card on top of the Druid staff showing either the Good or Evil side (depending on what alignment you are at the time). If you are neutral, place the good/evil card under the Druid Staff card.

From my memory, third edition has neutral fiches, that you can use, if you changed to neutral at the village etc
