sure. more even. here in New Zealand the cost of shipping is massive. when i can i support my LGS because wout them there wouldnt be a place to play.

Several cards, and here in the US it's $10 per, unless I'm not buying online.
I've never used my CR90 or Transport. (Someday I would like to play epic).
I have extras of phantoms, defenders, z95, interceptors, Sycks A wings, B wings and Y wings that I haven't flown. Also my second shuttle. I've only flown my Phantom once, it's not really my style, but I have 2. Oh and I just bought a second Advanced so It hasn't seen play yet. Heck it's not even stored properly yet.
Generally I buy enough of whatever to field a list of only that thing at 100 points. That way I can build any list I want on the occasions I get to play.
Maybe the Phantom and the E-Wng. I own at least one of every ship.

I don't get why you'd buy a ship and never use it. Even if it's just once to justify the purchase.

I've BARELY flown (no more than a couple times) the Decimator, Phantom, E-Wing, and YT-2400... I'd like to try them but they just aren't in any of the lists I've been making.

I never really used my Phantoms because there's a guy in my group that pretty much runs nothing but, and I like to try and diversify myself.
Funny thing is I have never played the phantom either. Also the star viper is another ship I haven't played. I may try agility tank Guri with APT other than those 2 I have put all other ships on the mat.

Think that's it, I've been pretty good about diversifying my ship experience, I am the anti-swarmer so I try to build squads with lots of different ships. Although Imperial is clearly my least favorite to fly... I need to give them some more love soon.
I think that every ship I own has been flown. Since I provide everything when I play against my brother, there might be ships that only he has flown (YT2400).
I don't own a Tantive, but we played the campagin from the transport, so all in all I think I need my whole collection.
Actually, with the scum Z-s, I now have four of them but only flown 2 in a list. But I flew rebel and scum pilots, so that's ok for me.

I haven't flow my starviper yet, but I just got it recently and am planning to fly it a bit once I build a list. I like to try out any ship I buy, even if I only got it for upgrades.

It is fairly simple to understand. These models are pretty. I tend to buy the number of ships I do less because of the upgrades, but more on how pretty the model is.
I've used everything at least once... (Well at least 1 version of everything). I haven't used all 6 TIE Advanced yet. Most I've done is 4.

If you're putting them in display I'd consider that using them. It's buying a TIE defender for Predator alone and then filing the model away in some forgotten box I don't get.

No, no, not worth it. Expansions are expensive even when you consider everything in them. Buying things just for a card I simply don't get and doubt I ever will.

You aren't trying to win Regional tournaments like everyone else with C3PO, etc. Can't wait to see all the Palpatine cards soon. 
If I ignore the playtesting I do myself to figure out how ships and lists work, here are the ships I've yet to use in a game:
Rebels: E-wing, YT-1300, YT-2400
Imperials: TIE Defender, TIE Advanced, Decimator
Scum: M3A, StarViper, IG2000
Epic: GR75 & CR-90
A-Wings.
The rest gets flown extensively.
