What armaments does the Inquisitor's TIE advanced carry? The Rebels visual guide mentions basic shields, hyperdrive and laser cannons. According to wookieepedia it also carries "20 missile shells".
For some annoying reason the book isn't out in the UK until September.

I dont have the book. But the sources I have found it has two laser cannons. So for the game I would use 2 medium laser cannons linked
it also has a XX-23 S-Thread Tracer launcher

The ultimate guide has very little in the way of specifics for that model.
It does say, two powerful laser cannons and a projectile launcher, but nothing more specific.
It also mentions it is just a prototype of Vader's vehicle so if you find the specs for that it should be the same.

That book doesn’t have official stats for anything, so far as I can tell. It gives you names for things you didn’t know had them, and some timelines, but not much in the way of “stats” for anything it shows.
Yes it is more an updated encyclopedia of information, but not specific statistics.

That page is the legends version, and is also Vader's TIE X1, not the Inquisitor's V1.

I typed EXACTLY WHAT WAS IN THE BLOODY BOOK.
I then gave you the legends info because that is all there is. That's it. You will not get more because there is not more to get. You can beg, plead, whine, cajole, but in the end there is NO MORE INFO TO GET.

Yeah, but sometimes there are misunderstandings. For example, I didn’t realize what you had typed was an exact quote from the book.
If you had posted a picture from the book with that text, or put that information into a quote block, then there would have been no question and I wouldn’t have bothered to post my previous response.
OTOH, I now know about this book and the kind of information it has, and I certainly learned something by doing a bit of research on it.
So, I have to thank you for helping me to gain this additional insight!
I'll quote direct from the book for you.
"Blasting Rebels
The prototype TIE Advanced has two powerful laser cannons for eliminating traitorous ships."
"Compared to a standard TIE fighter, the prototype TIE Advanced... [has] stronger laser cannons...."
Now, I'm sure you watched the Season 2 trailer. Let's take what we know from that, and apply it to this ship as it stands to reason it is still in prototype development even then.
Vader single-handedly eliminated a squadron, then proceeded to sink their battleship in this thing.
At this point, we have to consider that the RAW does not apply to this ship. Massive fire-power with a hell of a punch in a glass-cannon that might not be so fragile as we may be led to believe.
Based on the little info we have, I would recommend treating the laser cannons as (Heavy) with an inherent +2 to their damage output. Further, the TIE Advanced should have a targeting computer built in, offering an inherent Aim to every attack role.
As far as any other stats go, keep in mind that this thing has to be able to be killed. Do not forget that, or your players will find a way to steal it, then you have to deal with the headache of killing it yourself.
I am pretty sure you adding "for eliminating traitorous ships" does not really add to "Two powerful laser cannons". It is of the Empire, even their blaster pistols are for that reason. I am pretty sure they aren't for baking cookies.

Besides, the question has been answered, excepting reference to the kids book, which is where I'm presuming wookieepedia is getting the missile shells info from, as its clearly not in the Ultimate book.

You guys may have been thinking you were referring to the V1, but you were vastly mistaken.
I think the various canon sources may the cause of our crossed wires fated. The Rebels Visual guide refers to it as the V1, as does the canon Wookieepedia page here: http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Inquisitor's_TIE_Advanced
I know it's the prototype for Vaders Advanced. It's not uncommon (though confusing) for prototypes of various things to have different classifications and reference numbers.
It's also not the first time that different books have stated different info. Makes things tough when we're trying to keep things straight!
Page 294 explicitly states the Inquisitor's ship is an X1 Prototype and a prototype for Vader's ship.
Vader's ship is listed on an X1 on page 303.
Here endeth the lesson.
Personally I'd just use the TIE/IN Interceptor; add a hyperdrive, add shields of 1, drop two laser cannons and add a linked missile launcher.
