The base game rules states:
A knocked out hero may recover damage from other heroes through the use of skills, potions, and being revived If a knocked out hero recovers at least one damage, he immediately replaces his hero token with his figure and may perform actions as normal on his next turn.
However, the errata says:
Q: Can the Prophet use “Soothing Insight” to place the insight token on a hero who is knocked-out?
A: No.
I can understand why FFG decided to override the base game rules. Altough the Disciple's Prayer of Healing is much stronger than Soothing Insight in terms of health regenerated, it requires the Disciple to be adjacent to the other hero, while the Prophet can give the insight token to any hero, regardless of where they are on the map. So in theory, a Prophet could revive a knocked out hero from 4 tiles away without spending any actions, which would be incredibly OP.
However, even with the errata, the Prophet is still able to revive from half a world away without spending an action.
Imagine the following:
Party of three, Augur Grimson/Prophet, Dezra the Vile/Geomancer and Corbin/Berserker. Heroes' turn begins, Dezra is knocked out, far ahead of the slow Corbin and Augur. Augur begins, uses Soothing Insight on Corbin. In his turn, Corbin discards the insight token, thus triggering Augur's All-seeing ability (" Exhaust this card when the insight token is discarded. Another hero of your choice gains the insight token. "), and gives the insight token to Dezra, who according to the rules, gets revived. Since the errata specifically forbids reviving via Soothing Insight, I think this move is totally legit. Apart from spending two stamina instead of one, the results are same.
What do you guys think? Shouldn't the wording be that you can't be revived using the insight token?
