So! I made a great tabletop for Armada... And had just finished it when I realized... Oops! I made it 6x3 and not 6x4!

Ugh.

Let me ask... It will only be used for relaxed games with friends at home. How bad is it to leave it? Will that last foot totally run the game? Be truthful please.

6x4 would give you space for all your ship cards on either edge

The only problem you may face is space for the cards and other management-stuff, as the play area itself is no good place to store them.

Hah! I actually moved and am building an entire game room! Several large mobile gaming tables that can be combined into one MASSIVE table, a bunch of shelving full of miniatures, weapons and antiques and military prints everywhere, ample lighting, couches and TVs and my XBox One... I am nearly done putting it together, and when I finish it up I'll post some photos:)

Get a couple small folding tables to have off to the side for ship cards and you're golden.

Thankfully all of the tables are 6x4... the Armada stuff is just a piece that lays on top... so I do have six inches on each side:)
