Went 100-0 last night with this list vs. a TIE swarm & loaded Soontir. Next time I'll practice against a 4-ship rebel squad, and then a list of large tanky turrets.
This is what I flew last night, but I will probably change it:
Ten Numb + VI + Manger
Biggs + R4-D6
2x Green Sq. Pilot + Refit + Test Pilot + DTF + Calc
Biggs stayed at range 3 to draw fire away from Ten. A-Wings took crits away from Biggs to keep him alive longer, and returned fire with crits of their own. Ten Numb brought Soontir down to one health on first turn, for Biggs to finish off the next turn--only after Ten brough down Howlrunner that same turn. By the end of turn two, I had lost two shields from Biggs and two shields from each of my A-Wings. My A-Wings then brought down his lead Academy pilot.
By turn three, I was facing three Academy pilots and had yet to draw from my damage deck.
By turn four, he had one Academy pilot left.
By the end of the game, I hadn't touched my damage deck nor removed a ship from the table. Had 3 shields still on Ten Numb and a shield on one of my Greens. Granted, much of it was due to Biggs rolling Evades when he shouldn't have, but my Green squadron guys saved him from drawing a crit.
Considering dropping the Calculations and R4-D6 in favor of giving Ten Numb some Advanced Sensors so he can barrel roll before moving and better anticipate Soontirs and Whispers. Obviously, need to practice against a Rebel swarm and some large, shielded ships to see if this list would stand a chance against anything besides TIEs. Thoughts?
