Silvan two-player cooperative thematic decks.
Aragorn and Arwen (who fell in love in Lorien)
I don't have the books to hand right now, but I'm pretty sure Aragorn and Arwen fell in love in Rivendell.
Well, in Lorien Arwen first saw him fully-grown and really choose him.
I think that in Imladris "only" Aragorn fell in love with Arwen.
'It came to pass that when Aragorn was nine and forty years of age he returned from perils on
Nice decks, we might try this out in 2-player. My fiancée has played dwarves so far so help the rest of us - our 4-player group is still struggling through the Mirkwood cycle ever since we decided we wanted to beat the scenarios in release order. Some Silvan ought to help out.
Just a word of preliminary thanks to OlorinCZ for posting this and the Rohan Deck! I look forward to trying them both out.
Just one question, which expansions, sagas, and AP cycles have your tried them out on? Just curious and you may want to post which quest work best and worst with the respective decks.
Olorin93: Write you experience with these decks if you want to.
Boronind:
Shadows of Mirkwood normal and nightmare and Vocie of Isengard and Ringmaker cycle. And Massing at Osgiliath.
No major problem in any of those scenarios. I try not to modify them.
I am planning to use them against Lost realm and nightmare AtS (but I do not think the second one would be sucessful, newer nightmare scenarios are not friends of thematics deckbuilding....you have to aim for top tier powerfull decks).
I haven't ever builded a silvan deck and these might be good BUT as always when i find a good deck i don't have all needed cards for it...well maybe i will make some changes and then were going to try them. Maybe at this weekend.
Edited by Dwarf king Bronze beardInteresting to see Asfaloth in a pair of decks with no Glorfindel and no love for Arof. Any particular reason to keep out Arod ?
Dwarf king Bronze beard: I would be glad if you try them and give some feedback. Most of the cards are from Ringmaker and core set, so if you have them it would not be so hard to replace some cards.
joezim007: Two reasons actually.
First is the theme: Arod is Rohan horse and Legolas did not meet him until the events of LotR. And Asfaloth is elven horse (I know, Glorfindels and living in Rivendell now....but still thematically closer to Silvans for me....it even has "attach to Silvan" in text)
And the deck with Asfaloth tends to have more spare Lore resources. And Asfaloth is not crucial card.
But good question and earlier versions of these decks actually contained 1 copy of each of those horses.
(Btw it is my great dream to build working thematic deck featuring Lorefindel but I will wait for the end of Angmar Awakened cycle and promissed Noldor support.)
Edited by OlorinCZI finally tested your decks but they didn't work very well since i was missing some of the important cards for those decks. But at least i got inspired to make my own elf deck and we got really good points at the encounter of Amon-Din. Something like 78 points, only 2 dead villagers and 22 saved villagers (new record)!
I used Mirlonde, Elrond and Haldir. My friend used Celeborn, Galadriel and Glorfindel. If someone is really interested i could post those decks.
I would love to see your version of the decks, Bronze Beard.

mostly added elf-friend (Aragorn can wear cloak and be healed by tracker).
Would be interesting to add victory display mechanics and rossiel, but now I thing this version is stronger.
Yeah, I don't think Rossiel really fits well with the other Silvans since her events take up a lot of space.
I like these decks, Silvan is definitely my favorite trait. I usually tried Galadriel/Glorfindel/Celeborn but I would rather not use Celeborn. Aragorn's a nice addition.
The one thing I noticed is that Silvan depends mostly on events and allies so you might want to try to increase those and decrease attachments a bit.
I just noticed I built two decks with the exact same hero line-ups. I'd say something about "Great Minds" and all that but I'm pretty sure I don't qualify.
Narsil0420: Exactly, victory display tricks are not there yet in the power level with other well developed themes and traits. Interesting, fun, but deck-place-consuming and takes some time.
I am kinda tired of Glorfindel, he is over-used and a little OP, but this discussion was made in meny other places
. So i try not to use him. But he would fit well in those decks actually.
And Celeborn? In more than one player game his ability can shine, especially combined with his wife. (Orophin entering the game, questing for 3 and attacking for 3? Yes, please).
And thank you for your appretiation.
Yes thats true. But the higher percentage of attachments makes those decks a little bit more...well...stable. And my decks tend to depend on heroes rather than allies more compared to average Silvan decks, thats true.
silverthorn: Well the main cornerstone of my decks is theme. If you want the same thing, it would be hard to have very different lineup
. And feel free to post your decks here or add some comment about some combo or synergy I forgot to use or mention. All decks needs to be refined and perfected.

I borrowed your deck design (with a couple of changes for using 1 core set) to try out the saga.
I now have newer version with a little different hero lineup (Celeborn - Galadriel - Frodo / Legolas - Mirlonde - Haldir) and with added new tribal cards.
How does the Silvan do in saga?
I tried the SIlvan in recent days and they did not lost anything of their power.
The old decks did well against A Shadow Of The Past but I've lost two attempts against The Old Forest (it's no big surprise, my luck against that quest has been pretty terrible). I'm going to restart the saga since I haven't done a fully written up saga run and I'm not far into the campaign.
unfortunatelly you will have do some changes because I used spirit Frodo for these decks
I've built a deck with Celeborn, Galadriel and Haldir for a four-player Saga runthrough (which I kind of kitbashed from both of your decks) as soon as the other players can get together.
