As far as the character things in the thread title... It's doji's thing for the monthly meet-up schedule here . No big deal. There are plenty of worse things to worry about on this very thread... plenty of fly-much-less-than-casual types or people who want to complain about anything FFG does.

The South Tacoma / Lakewood group is pretty laid back and friendly and inviting to new players. I've only been hanging at this store for 6 months and I was welcomed in like family. And prior to that, when I bought a few games at the store over the years, the staff and patrons have always been polite and helpful. There must be a reason that the store has been there for so long.

So honestly, Mr. WAAAGH, if you are going to form an opinion on the group and the store based on characters in a title that you'd rather not see in a title... it would be a terrible read of the situation. Just ignore us and the threads that doji puts up each month to plan our Friday meet-ups.

And please, PLEASE tell me you are not from Portscum? Because that would be so fitting.

Nope, my low opinion is based solely on how people have conducted themselves here. The thread title is annoying, but the people are downright rude.

Yes we normally start showing up between 7 and 730. Some time due to traffic or leaving work late.

It's not a matter of what I want , it's a matter of perspective and empathy. You clearly aren't concerned about how your actions affect others, and when those actions are received negatively, and you continue to do them after being politely asked not to, you are, in fact, being very rude.

Still making friends in the northwest I see I guess its a good thing the 12th man hasn't shown up . It such a lovely green place. Unless you like Timber green then its not a very nice place.

I would still like to thank you for you contribution of bumping this thread to the top of the board increasing the chance that more players in the northwest will see my thread and come by and play a game or two. Don't think I have had a weekly thread go to three pages before but I have high hope that this one might

... So my list experimentation in casual friday play have failed... I'm going back to what I know for the Tacoma Regional. The list that I played well in more store championship play than not.

Is there a reason that you have all caps and three capital A's all together in the second half of your name? Is there a special way to pronounce three capital A's? Do you not see just a little hipocracy in asking others to not use some symbols in the threads that have been started each month for a local group when you have posted thousands of times with redundant capital letters in your forum/thread handle? While you are concerned that others do not understand the meaning of troll, maybe you could look up thread etiquette and what it means to use excessive capital letters... especially three of the same letter in a row?

We all get it. You take issue with the thread title and the way doji has been doing it for years. But realize that you have the ability to ignore the thread now and in the future. In fact, because of the characters that you don't like, you can more easily see, recognize, and ignore the threads.

At this point, what you are doing is the very definition of trolling. You are simply stirring the pot needlessly, knowing full well that you could simply ignore a thread that you have all but stated you have no interest in at this point. However you continue to post. If you simply went about your way and never commented again in a Game Matrix thread, you'd eventually forget about us and we'd forget about you and the community would be better for it. Neither you nor, nor me, nor any of the others in this thread really come to FFG's Xwing forum to debate about how one should or should not title a thread, correct? We come here to be in an online community of other like individuals with regard to some FFG games we all enjoy. I should be a the Game Matrix some time on Friday (time pending family things). I was there last week (second time there) and had a blast playing people. I will have my Fel Decimator build I am playing at the regional this weekend with me.

As entertaining as this is, it is clear that you have made the point and we have made ours, and on the internet, that's as far as it goes. The FFG site admins seem not to have taken issue with the titles after nearly two years.

Please stop harassing us on this thread dedicated to casual play in the Tacoma area.
