I hope that you all will consider the fact that you share this forum with many other posters from many other locales, all of whom have to wade through the distracting character spam to find threads relevant to themselves. It's not fair to us that we should have to do so simply because it's a "Tacoma Thing," or because you've been doing it since wave 1 and we've been patient enough not to bring it up before. If we can find threads without the characters, surely you can too.

As far as the character things in the thread title... It's doji's thing for the monthly meet-up schedule here . No big deal. There are plenty of worse things to worry about on this very thread... plenty of fly-much-less-than-casual types or people who want to complain about anything FFG does.

The South Tacoma / Lakewood group is pretty laid back and friendly and inviting to new players. I've only been hanging at this store for 6 months and I was welcomed in like family. And prior to that, when I bought a few games at the store over the years, the staff and patrons have always been polite and helpful. There must be a reason that the store has been there for so long.

So honestly, Mr. WAAAGH, if you are going to form an opinion on the group and the store based on characters in a title that you'd rather not see in a title... it would be a terrible read of the situation. Just ignore us and the threads that doji puts up each month to plan our Friday meet-ups.

And please, PLEASE tell me you are not from Portscum? Because that would be so fitting.

I'm a newer player and was planning to come down to the Game Matrix tonight (been there once before a few months ago). Do people usually show up around 7?
