300 Point Rebel Squadron build

By halfmanhalfsquidman, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Was theorycrafting this evening and built this list. Concept is basically that the Yavaris and A-Wings clear out the fighter screen while the Haven and B-wings trundle up to something they want to kill and then kill it dead, Assuming the Yavaris is still alive when the B-Wings are within striking range of an enemy vessel it will also pump them up with double attacks.

1 • Assault Frigate Mark II B - Garm Bel Iblis - Adar Tallon - Flight Controllers - Expanded Hangar Bay - Gallant Haven (126)

2 • Nebulon-B Escort Frigate - Raymus Antilles - Engineering Team - Yavaris (74)

3 • A-wing Squadron (11)

4 • A-wing Squadron (11)

5 • A-wing Squadron (11)

6 • A-wing Squadron (11)

7 • B-wing Squadron (14)

8 • B-wing Squadron (14)

9 • B-wing Squadron (14)

10 • B-wing Squadron (14)

Thoughts?

I tried a similar list and found that taking the Paragon with enhanced armament was a much better pick than Haven. I did put an extended hangar bay and Adar Talon on the Paragon.

I also had Antilles on the Yavaris.

I took Garm as my Admiral.

For fighters I took Farlander, Wedge, Dutch, 2 x wing squads and a b wing squad.

When you get to firing range, activate Farlander and 2 other pilots (3 if you have your token) but do not activate the b-wing unless the b-wing is not in firing range of a ship.

Use Adar Talon to ready Farlander.

Then you get 2 more shots with Farlander when the Yavaris activates it.

It went 3-0 Saturday. It gave people fits.
