Gaining the Advantage with More than one opponent

By Nimsim, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Quick question:

Let's say you have an x-wing versus 2 TIE fighters. Tie 1 does Gain the Advantage against the X-Wing. TIE 2 also does gain the advantage on the x-wing. If the x-wing wants to use gain the advantage itself, does it have to choose which TIE to apply it to? If so, doesn't this kind of screw over a starship in any combat that isn't one on one?

Id say if the TIEs were a single minion group, then you GtA both of them

If they are Rivals, or single, or seperate Minions, then you need to GtA vs both.

Since GtA effects carry on unless the target GtAs again (And thus sacrifices an Action, and by extension, a shot at you), then it kinda works... but thats what happens when the odds outnumber you.
