Honestly, I'd just pinch the Campaign rules directly from Battlefleet Gothic. The rules are available all over the place for download, although it might take a bit of searching. If nothing else, there is a lot of good material there for scenarios.
What kind of games are you looking to play?

I did a search, but found a lot of links to fan-brew stuff, but not the official. Care to help a brother out, since you know what you're referring to?
I really would prefer scenarios (playable by itself) that can be combined in a campaign. Best of both worlds. And indeed a mini-game from FFG would be nice. This could include campaign rules, scenario booklet, strategic map, some counters for the strategic map, ... Come on FFG, you have proven to be wizard in game design; you can do it!
Resistance is futile(Oops, wrong universe....)!
I have posted another thread with some ideas, but no feedback, alas!
"It is useless to resist!"
(There, that's the right universe.)
It's funny how we can motivate ourselves for hours to come up with campaign rules, but we don't spare the time to read what someone else has shared. I'm guilty of that as well.
So, how about this: I'll look closely at your rules, and pitch it to my crew, if you will check out my still-incomplete mechanic for attacking/defending systems.

Deal!
I prefer fly casual tournament style armada games.
Play with current point standard, proper set up and point distribution and I'm a happy camper.
I enjoy playing and am not too bothered by win or lose. When I was sub 30 years old, it was all about the competitive win. Now post 40, it's all about the fun of the people I get to spend time play against.

The file you're looking for is:
BFG [Rulebook] Battle Fleet Gothic.pdf
And the campaign rules start on page 140 (I think, you should be able to find it).
It may not be exactly what you're looking for, and the upgrade and promotion charts will obviously need adapting, but there should be a lot of good material there to mine. And the BFG scenarios (a lot of them, anyway) are good material for Armada scenarios. Just remember the games take place in different scales. BFG makes use of entire planets as terrain, and even point blank range is tens of thousands of kilometers distance.
EDIT: I can email the file if you have trouble downloading it.
Edited by ChucknuckleI prefer large point scenario type games. Nothing says star wars to me like a ton of capital ships and fighters.
The side benefit is my wife rolls her eyes and leaves me alone! No talking about shopping or Kardashian!

I would say yes. They sure as hell are not human.

I was able to download and read the file. This definitely has a format similar to what my cohorts and I were thinking of, but it's really nice to have it spelled out. Thank you for sharing! ![]()
This really is the sort of campaign I would like to play with just a core group of friends. The results and specifics could be posted on a web page for all to see, and for HNN to report on.
I still have to sift through the specifics and see what aspects I want to recreate or dismiss. It will very much depend on what my community wants to do.
